Revised Article 9 and Real Estate FinanceDennis B. Arnold George B. Carrier, III The speakers will discuss the impact of Revised Article 9 upon real estate financing. Topics to be addressed in detail include perfection of security interests in and transfer and enforcement of letters of credit supporting real property leases, perfection of security interests in and sales of promissory notes secured by real property, rights against real property securing pledged notes, changes to California's non-uniform "mixed collateral" rules, fixture filings, the new rules governing security interests in deposit accounts and many of the new rules regarding financing statements, including where they should be filed and how they may be continued.
