First Day Orders,
Including Critical Vendor Motions and
Other Possible Violations of the Bankruptcy Code

The program shall focus upon first day orders in Chapter 11 cases and shall include excellent materials for the practitioner in that regard. The program shall also discuss the recent decision of the District Court in Illinois in the Capital Factors case as well as decisions in other courts that have raised questions about whether such orders are consistent with the Bankruptcy Code's priority scheme.
