Please join us for the annual Jeffrey S. Turner Memorial Commercial Law Update.  This program is always one of the highlights of the FLC’s year. The program provides an overview of the most important developments in commercial law during the past year and is presented by two truly outstanding commercial lawyers – John Hilson and Steve Weise.

Prof. John Hilson. After over 35 years in private practice (including chairing the Finance & Restructuring Group at Paul Hastings), John joined the faculty at the UCLA School of Law where he teaches Transactional Skills, Acquisition Financing Transactions and Business Deals.

Steve Weise is a partner at Proskauer where he practices in virtually all aspects of commercial law.  Steve is also a member of the UCC Permanent Editorial Board, served as the ABA’s Advisor to the UCC Article 9 Drafting Committee, and serves as the ABA’s Representative to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Working Group on Secured Transactions.
